BF Raglan
June 24th, 2009 Posted in FOs, Knitting
This was completed in February, but I just now got him in it and posing for pictures! It is my first sweater, and I am extremely happy with both the fit and the style. Honestly, I have been wearing it more than him. : )
I used the Raglan pattern in the Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, adding 3×2 ribbing under the arms, around the waist, and at the wrists. I also added a zipper collar:

—————————————————————-
Yarn: Tahki Torino, colorway Navy Blue (mmm squishy…)
Needle size: US 8 (7 for ribbing)
—————————————————————-

(Back of sweater + lots of dog hair)

Congratulations on your fist sweater! It looks great. Myself, I have finished one adult size sweater. It was for me. I wore it once. Then my husband (the nice guy that he is) was helping with laundry, & he washed & dried the sweater in our machines. Needless to say it felted & I never again wore.
I have another sweater in the works but it’s a ways off from being finished.
